Understanding Fidya

Fidya is a mandatory donation for those who cannot fast due to permanent reasons like old age or long-term illness. If you are unable to make up the fast later, you must provide two meals to a needy person for every day missed.
This ensures that even if you cannot observe the fast physically, you can still gain the blessings of the month by supporting the most vulnerable.

Understanding Kaffarah

Kaffarah is the compensation required for intentionally breaking a fast without a valid reason. If you cannot fast for sixty consecutive days as atonement, you must feed sixty needy people.
Your Kaffarah provides essential food to struggling families in Sindh and Balochistan, making a massive difference to those who often have no other way to break their fast.
